Ride the delightful backroads of the world-famous Hood River Valley this fall… one of the best times of year to ride.
Traveling by bike along these roads is a great way to take in some amazing scenery, and at the same time, you can enjoy the sights and sounds of the harvest as it’s coming in.
Family members and friends who don’t ride should also come along. There’s plenty for them to do in the immediate area and in areas nearby while you ride.

Hood River Valley Residents Committee
Since 1977, conserving farms, forests and other natural resources though sound planning that promotes quality of live in the Hood River Valley now and for the future. Your participation helps our non-profit volunteer organization preserve this very special, unique and productive agricultural valley and surrounding forest lands.
The event location has been moved to the Mt. Hood Town Hall in Parkdale due to the Dollar Lake Fire on Mt. Hood and the fire camp taking place at the Hood River Fairgrounds in Odell. The bike ride routes will change slightly and new maps should be up on the site by 9/17/2011. Pay when you arrive camping has been moved to the beautiful Toll Bridge Park, 1 mile south of the Mt. Hood Town Hall just off Hwy. 35 along the Hood River.
Riders are encouraged to bring one can of food grown in Oregon to donate to the Oregon Food Bank. Fresh produce bought along the ride is ok to donate as long as it is not bruised or damaged.
We have switched our registration site to Eventbrite due to technical difficulties with the OR Bike site. Hope this new site preforms better. Please let me know if you have any issues or difficulties. Thanks! Peter Cornelison, Ride Director
The Cooper Spur loop will only be available as ride up to the high point and return along the same route. ODOT is doing construction on Highway 35 and the US Forest Service does not want us to use this portion of the road, sorry.
